- Keep all types of food and drink out of the classroom, (including gum).
- Remove all hair-coverings after entering the classroom, (hats, scarves, etc).
- Practice “SLANT” to the best of your ability, (sit in the front, lean forward, ask questions, nod to show your listening, and talk to the teacher).
- Leave all electronic devices in your backpacks or lockers. Keep them out of the classroom if possible.
- Use your soft voice while in the classroom.
- Keep the classroom environment safe with your thoughts, words, and actions, (use civilized language toward yourself and others).
- Please keep side conversations minimal, (particularly while the instructor and students are engaged in class discussion).
- Raise your hand to be called on when ever possible.
- Please take all of your possessions when you leave the classroom, (personals, paper, assignments, notebooks, trash, etc.).
- Be on time for class (this means to be seated at your desk before the bell rings).
- Prepare paper for in-class note taking (set up)
- Please remain in seat while the instructor or students are engaged in class discussion or until permission has been given to leave it.
- If more classroom practices are needed, I will add them.
